Maison Mirabeau, Provence, France
Maison Mirabeau makes award-winning rosé wines in the heart of Provence, France, combining tradition with innovation to produce exceptional quality. A B Corp company and pioneering in sustainability in the wine industry, they have launched a new cuvée, ‘One Day,’ in spring 2025—the first wine in Provence to be Certified Regenerative by A Greener World (AGW), further reflecting their commitment to responsible viticulture and environmental stewardship.
The story of Maison Mirabeau is a tale of passion, purpose, and a love for Provence. In 2009, Jeany and Stephen Cronk made a bold decision to leave the leafy suburbs of south London and follow their dream to create world-class rosé wines in the sun-drenched fields of Provence. What started as a family adventure has blossomed into one of the world’s most beloved rosé brands, winning numerous awards and capturing the hearts of wine enthusiasts across over 40 markets worldwide.
Guided by a vision of creativity and innovation, Maison Mirabeau has become synonymous with quality and sustainability. The brand’s diverse portfolio—ranging from exquisite rosé wines to a grape-based gin and refreshing spritz—embodies a commitment to celebrating life’s beautiful moments. But at the heart of their journey lies a profound dedication to environmental stewardship, with a commitment to regenerative agriculture that started at their own estate and now sets a new benchmark for nature-positive viticulture.
In 2024, Domaine Mirabeau became the first vineyard in Provence to achieve Certified Regenerative by AGW, a significant milestone in the brand’s journey. This certification not only recognizes the vineyard’s climate-positive practices but also serves as a lighthouse estate to encourage others to adopt these practices. Grapes for the Maison’s new ‘One Day’ cuvée are sourced exclusively from partner vineyards in the Côtes de Provence Appellation, which are both organic and regenerative certified.
Key regenerative practices at their Domaine Mirabeau include minimal soil disturbance, planting cover crops, applying compost to enhance soil fertility and structure, and foliar treatments with plant extracts to support healthy plant growth. The mulched cover crop improves water retention and lowers soil temperature in the hot months. The estate’s holistic approach also avoids chemical pesticides and fertilizers, uses biodiversity corridors, and eliminates irrigation, maintaining the vineyard’s natural water balance and reducing its carbon footprint.
“Our commitment to regenerative agriculture is fundamental to our philosophy,” explains Stephen Cronk. “We believe that a truly great wine should reflect the health and vitality of the land from which it comes. Through our Certified Regenerative by AGW status, we’re demonstrating that exceptional quality and environmental stewardship can go hand in hand.”
Certified Regenerative by AGW Mirabeau ‘One Day’ rosé is available at select retailers and hospitality venues, including Whole Foods Market UK and The Doyle Collection’s premium London hotels. Check the AGW directory for further details. The rosé is also proudly served on Virgin Atlantic’s Upper Class flights from May to September 2025—bringing the taste of Provence to discerning travellers.
